September 1960 climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanganyika with 3 others : Steve Price, Keith Reagan & Les Searle. Oct / Nov.1960 hitch-hiked solo from Nairobi, Kenya, to Murchison Falls, Uganda. About 600 plus miles each way.
Feb.1961 returned to work at Rolls Royce Ltd. Ilkeston.
Sep.1964 married at Bridgeway Hall Methodist Mission, Meadows, Nottingham, and moved to 8, Buxton Street, Meadows, Nottingham.
Mar.1965 moved to 106, Charlbury Road, Wollaton, Nottingham.
