Notes
Bruce & Gerry's Auntie May, used to teach at the Infant School in the village, until she retired.
I remember she used to keep a parrot in the living room.
At the back of the house there was a large walled garden, I used to do some small gardening jobs for her, mainly weeding. (B.W.K.)
Auntie May left her house (Market House, The Square, South Petherton) to Gerry. This house is featured in the Centenary Book on South Petherton, with at least 3 photos.
Some info supplied by Steve Doble, Parish Clerk.
